A prediction for bubbling geometries
نویسنده
چکیده
We study the supersymmetric circular Wilson loops in N = 4 Yang-Mills theory. Their vacuum expectation values are computed in the parameter region that admits smooth bubbling geometry duals. The results are a prediction for the supergravity action evaluated on the bubbling geometries for Wilson loops.

Thermal Phase in Bubbling Geometries
We use matrix model to study thermal phase in bubbling half-BPS type IIB geometries with SO(4) × SO(4) symmetry. In near horizon limit, we find that thermal vacuum of bubbling geometries have disjoint parts, and each part is one phase of thermal system. We connect the thermal dynamics of bubbling geometries with one dimension fermions thermal system. Finally, we try to give a new possible way t...
متن کاملOn-shell Action for Bubbling Geometries
We study the half-BPS sector of the AdS/CFT correspondence. In the full sector of the correspondence, on-shell actions in type IIB supergravity have been played crucial roles, for example in the GKP-Witten relation. We derive, therefore an on-shell action that reproduces a class of half-BPS solutions found by Lin, Lunin and Maldacena. These solutions describe the bubbling geometries in the supe...
متن کاملCoarse-graining of bubbling geometries and fuzzball conjecture
We compute black hole entropies and the “horizon” sizes from the fuzzball conjecture in the LLM bubbling geometries, based on coarse-graining on the gravity side. The differences of black hole microstates cannot be seen by classical observations. Conversely, by counting the possible deformations of the geometry which are not classically detectable, we can calculate the entropy. We carry out thi...

متن کاملBubbling Calabi-Yau geometry from matrix models
We study bubbling geometry in topological string theory. Specifically, we analyse ChernSimons theory on both the 3-sphere and lens spaces in the presence of a Wilson loop of an arbitrary representation. For each three manifold, we formulate a multi-matrix model whose partition function is the Wilson loop vev and compute the spectral curve. This spectral curve is closely related to the Calabi-Ya...
